Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, including requirement assessment, solution design, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and high service standards.
- Provide proactive technical support, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Perform routine system maintenance, health checks, and preventive measures to ensure system reliability.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and service reports.
- Deploy and validate proof-of-concept (POC) solutions, ensuring alignment with project timelines and requirements.
- Manage escalations by coordinating with relevant teams and producing structured incident reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, workflows, and service delivery.
- Conduct regular service reviews with clients to ensure performance expectations and service levels are met.
- Manage vendor coordination and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Support managed services operations including planning, scheduling, prioritization, and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 3–8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, system engineering, or managed services environments.
- Hands-on experience with hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) and virtualization platforms such as Nutanix, VMware vSAN, Hyper-V, Cisco HyperFlex, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems and tools, including:
- Windows Server environments (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint)
- Backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Cohesity)
- System management and database tools (e.g., SCCM, Microsoft SQL Server)
- Exposure to cloud platforms, Linux environments, container platforms (e.g., OpenShift), and networking concepts is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-oriented approach.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within teams.
