What you’ll be doing?

  • Application Monitoring & Support: Oversee and support daily business applications to ensure stable, uninterrupted system operations and swift resolution of any issues that arise.
  • Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis: Lead troubleshooting efforts and conduct thorough root cause analyses (RCA) to minimise downtime, enhance user experience, and implement preventive measures that keep systems resilient.
  • Operational Reporting: Produce insightful operational and performance reports that empower management with the data they need to make informed decisions and drive business improvements.
  • System Enhancement Collaboration: Champion system improvement initiatives by working closely with vendors, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver effective and timely enhancements.
  • Documentation & SOP Management: Prepare and maintain comprehensive system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support reports to ensure consistency and knowledge continuity across the team.

Who are they looking for?

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline provides a strong foundation for success in this role.
  • Relevant Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in application support or a similar role is required, bringing the practical knowledge needed to hit the ground running.
  • SQL Database Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL databases, including platforms such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle, is essential for effective data management and troubleshooting.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Experience with reporting tools and data analysis will enable meaningful insights to be drawn from system performance data.
